Does Scrumwise comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation?

Yes, Scrumwise complies fully with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which went into effect on May 25, 2018.

In GDPR terms, when you are using Scrumwise, we act as Data Processor for you, and you act as Data Controller. For this reason, if you are a company based in the EU, you must enter into a Data Processing Agreement with us. This is required by the GDPR for you yourself to be compliant with the GDPR. The same applies for any other online application that you use where you register users by name and email address, since even such basic information is considered personal data by the GDPR.
