What do I do if Scrumwise says that an email address is already in use?

If you get the message "This email address is already in use in Scrumwise" when you try to add a new user to your account, this is because there is already a personal account that uses that email address. Scrumwise doesn't allow the same email address to be used in multiple accounts.

Here are some things you can do:

  • Use another email address for the person in the account that you are creating. You can use the special plus notation to create a new email address that points to that same email address.
  • Ask the person to change the email address in his other account.
  • Ask the person to delete his other account.
  • Ask the person to close the entire company account that his other account belongs to.
