Why is my sprint behind right from the start?
Here are some possible reasons:
- You have set the wrong start date for the sprint. For example, if you have set the start date to the day before you actually start the sprint, Scrumwise will consider you to already be one day into the sprint, and if no work has been done yet, you'll be one day of work behind. To fix this, change the start date.
- You start the sprint late in the day of the first day of the sprint period. If you do this, Scrumwise will assume that little or no work time remains on that day, meaning you are roughly a day behind already. To fix this, change the start date to the day after, or make sure to start your sprint in the morning of the day where you start working. Alternatively, specify the available time in the sprint per day instead of as a total. Then set the appropriate amount of time available on the first day, for example half a day if you plan to start the sprint in the middle of the workday.
